Abstract

The invention provides a descent control device which comprises a cotton rope winding drum, a power generator, a descent control motor, a cotton rope winding drum speed reducing mechanism, a speed sensor, a manned device and a control device, wherein the cotton rope winding drum is sleeved on a rope shaft, the rope shaft is fixed on a stand, a cotton rope is wound on a drum body of the cotton rope winding drum, one end of the cotton rope is fixed on the drum body and the other end is led out, a friction disk is arranged on the cotton rope winding drum; the manned device is connected with the cotton rope; an electricity-generating rotating element is arranged on the power generator, the cotton rope is wound on the electricity-generating rotating element of the power generator; and the descent control motor is fixed on the stand, and a power supply input end of the descent control motor is connected with an electric energy output part of the power generator.
