Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for producing plastic containers (20), comprising a heating element (4) for heating plastic parisons, a transport system (12, 14, 16, 18) for transporting the plastic parisons (10) along a pre-defined transport path (T), and a shaping element (8) arranged along the transport path, downstream of the heating device (4), said shaping element shaping the plastic parisons to form plastic containers. According to the invention, the device (1) has a sterilisation element that applies a free-flowing medium to a wall of the plastic parisons (10) in order to sterilise said wall, the sterilisation device being arranged along the transport path of the containers such that the sterilisation takes place after the heating process applied to the containers in the heating device (4) and before the end of the shaping process in the shaping element.
