Abstract

The present invention provides a melted magnesium supply pump with high supply precision. A blade type melted magnesium supply pump (106) conveys the melted magnesium (114) stored in a container (104) to a melted magnesium pipe (102). A control part (120) changes a rotation speed of a rotor according to a liquid level height of the melted magnesium (114) in the container (104). The control part (120) controls so the rotor performs an intermittent operation which alternates repeatedly in the operation period and the stopping period. Furthermore the number of rotation of the rotor is increased in each operation period, wherein, the rotor is rotated for a certain time period in the operation period, and the rotor is stopped for a certain time period in the stopping period. The control part (120) determines the number of rotation of the rotor for satisfying an equation: deltah=a*N2+b, wherein deltah is a difference between a reference liquid level height (H) and a current liquid level height (h); a and b are real numbers.
