Embodiment Construction

[0017] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with accompanying drawing:

[0018] The tree topology has a common feature, that is, if any node in the tree is used as the root to look down, a subtree can be obtained. For the root of any subtree in the tree, its child nodes are directly connected through itself, and its grandchildren (ie, child nodes of child nodes) may not be connected to the same child node, that is, from the root Looking down from the node, two second-level child nodes may not belong to the same first-level child node. To communicate between such two nodes, it must go through the root node of this subtree. This characteristic of the tree structure makes the traffic continuously converge to the root node of each subtree, and the communication that must pass through the root node will also have a higher number of hops than those between nodes at the same level that can be achieved without going through the root node. The communic...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for realizing an interconnection structure in the same layer domain of a tree topology. The interconnection structure obtained by using the method is used for solving the defects of a tree structure, the average hop of the interconnection structure is smaller than that of the tree structure, the fault-tolerant capacity is stronger than that of the tree structure, and less extra switching nodes and links are utilized. Meanwhile, a fat tree structure can be regarded as the overlap of plurality of single tree structures. The method can also be applied to the fat tree structure, thus reducing the average hop of the fat tree structure and strengthening the fault-tolerant capacity of the fat tree structure.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical fields of communication and computer, in particular to a method for realizing the interconnection structure in the same layer domain of tree topology. Background technique [0002] In the fields of parallel interconnection networks, multiprocessor systems, and on-chip networks, the tree-shaped switching structure has been widely used due to its advantages such as small average hops, simple path finding, and natural aggregation characteristics. However, it is well known that the tree structure has some insurmountable defects. Due to the highly aggregated nature of the tree structure, links close to the root of the tree often require a very large capacity to meet the normal communication of the entire network. Once a certain link or a certain node in the tree structure fails, all points below the fault point will also fail. When this happens near the root node of the tree, the problem is particularly serious. In o...
