Abstract

A blade of the centrifugal fan is formed with an arc-shaped convex edge or a groove which extends up from top down. The convex edge or the groove extends towards the center of the centrifugal fan. Meanwhile, the invention also discloses a window type air conditioner using the water beating structure. The water beating action at the outdoor side of the window type air conditioner is realized by using self suction force of the fan. The water storage tank is arranged on an upper air inlet of the base plate. The blade of the fan is provided with the convex edge or the groove. The condensed water is stirred up by the blade and a wheel disc at an inlet of the fan and is further lifted up in height by the suction force of the fan, and then the condensed water is blown onto a heat exchanger, so that the water beating area is increased. The water beating action is realized by using the centrifugal fan, so that the water beating effect is good, the cost is reduced and the product reliability is improved.
