The invention discloses a wheel-track switching mechanism, which comprises a deformation rim part, bearing and track tensioning parts, a deformation transmission part and a power switching device, wherein the deformation rim part and the bearing and track tensioning parts are synchronously deformed in an operating state of a circular wheel type or track type advancing mode through the motion of the deformation transmission part; and the power switching device is equivalent to a clutch and can control the on/off of input power of the deformation transmission part. By the wheel-track switching mechanism, two conventional advancing modes of vehicles are skillfully integrated, and a vehicle or an advancing mechanism with the structure can be freely switched between wheel type advancing and track advancing according to road conditions; and therefore, the vehicle has the characteristics of rapidness and flexibility of the wheel type advancing mode and has high cross-country ability of the track advancing mode.
