Abstract

A temperature sensing device of an electric cooking appliance comprises a temperature probe and a probe support. The temperature probe with one end in contact with an inner pot of the electric cooking appliance comprises a thermostat and a probe housing for securing the thermostat. An elastic spring plate is disposed on the probe support. Two sides of the probe housing are rested on the elastic spring plate. The temperature probe is tightly attached to the inner pot of the electric cooking appliance under the elasticity of the elastic spring plate. The temperature sensing device has the advantages that firstly, the electric element is high in strength and less prone to pulling of a wire, and the temperature probe can be attached to the inner pot better; secondly, the live wire is stayed away from the elastic element, and no electric leakage occurs; and thirdly, the temperature sensing device having few parts is simple in manufacturing process and low in cost.
