The present invention involves transferring data using physical gestures. Systems and methods for making data transfers more intuitive within a networked computing environment are described. In one aspect, the disclosed technology performs the transfer of data from a source device to one or more target devices in response to one or more physical gestures. In some embodiments, the one or more physical gestures may include waving the source device for data transfer and / or pointing the source device in the direction of the target device or an image associated with the target device.
