[0055] Example 1 : Simulation of Fluidization Movement Process of Tangjiashan Landslide
[0056] During the Wenchuan Earthquake, a large-scale high-speed landslide occurred in Tangjiashan, on the right bank of the Tongkou River, 6km upstream from Beichuan County, blocking the Tongkou River and causing 84 people to be buried. Before the earthquake, the topographic slope of Tangjiashan was 40°, and it belonged to the structure with moderate and steep inclination along the bank slope. A high-speed landslide was formed under the trigger of the earthquake. The whole landslide's downtime was about 0.5 min, and the relative displacement of the slide was 900 m. The barrier dam formed by the rapid downslide to block the river was 803.4 m long along the river, and the maximum width across the river was 611.8 m. The dam height is 82-124 m, and the average area is about 3×10 5 m 2 , with an estimated volume of 20.37×106 m 3 .
