Abstract

The invention provides a distributed computing method comprising the steps as follows: constructing a unified programming interface among a plurality of distributed computing platforms based on universal functions of different distributed computing platforms; according to specific application requirements of a user, programming through the unified programming interface to construct a distributed application program; and invoking a distributing script to submit the distributed application program to the distributed computing platforms, starting a to-be-executed task, and executing the distributed application program on the distributed computing platforms. By virtue of the method, the distributed application program can be executed on the different distributed computing platforms without modification or with a little modification, so that the portability among the different distributed computing platforms is improved. In addition, the invention further provides a distributed computing system.
