The device comprises a fixed vice body, a movable vice body in sliding fit with the fixed vice body and a rocking arm with inclined surfaces at two ends, wherein the middle part of the rocking arm is hinged on the fixed vice body; a reset spring is arranged between the lower part of the rocking arm and the fixed vice body; the upper part of the rocking arm is horizontally provided a strip-type limiting groove; and a positioning pin penetrating through the strip-type limiting groove is fixedly arranged on the fixed vice body. The device disclosed by the invention is smart in structural design; when a workpiece is placed to the device, the outer inclined surface of the lower end of the rocking arm is impacted, the rocking arm anticlockwise rotates along the hinge center at the moment and then the outer inclined surface of the upper end of the rocking arm enters a groove of the workpiece, so that the workpiece can be clamped; in the loosening operation, the workpiece is lifted upwards, the lower part of the rocking arm is pushed to the left side due to the tensile force of the spring, the outer inclined surface of the upper end of the rocking arm quits the groove of the workpiece at the moment; and the strip-type limiting groove and the positioning pin are used for limiting the rotation range of the rocking arm in a certain range.
