Abstract

The invention provides a message paging method, device and base station applied to an LTE (long term evolution) system. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a paging message sent from a mobile management entity (MME), wherein the paging message includes a tracking domain list; judging whether a local cell belonging to the tracking domain list occurs or not; if so, calculating a paging frame (PF) value and a paging occasion (PO) value by utilizing a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a user equipment identifier value; generating paging message nodes according to a paging identifier, a paging domain, the PF value and the PO value of the paging message, and generating a paging message queue from a plurality of the paging message nodes according to the sequence; and sending the paging message corresponding to the paging message nodes in the paging message queue to user equipment (UE) when a preset interrupt arrives. According to the method, device or base station provided by the embodiment of the invention, the paging time delay and the cost of system resources can be reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a message paging method, device and base station applied in an LTE system. Background technique [0002] The LTE (Long Term Evolution) system adopts a flat network structure. It includes both wireless access technology evolution and system architecture evolution. The LTE network includes an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN, Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) and an Evolved Packet Core Network (EPC, Evolved Packet Core). Among them, E-UTRAN is composed of base stations (eNB, Evolved NodeB), and eNBs can be directly interconnected through X2 interface; EPC includes Serving Gateway (S-GW, Serving Gateway) and Mobility Management Entity (MME, Mobility Management Entity), through Sl The interface interacts with the eNB. Each eNB includes multiple cells. [0003] In the LTE system, paging is divided into paging on the S1 in...
