The control method comprises the steps that recognition modes which can be read by a robot and through which the robot can be started are set, wherein the recognition modes include face recognition, fingerprint recognition and ID card recognition; after setting is completed, a controller inputs recognition information of at least two persons; the recognition information is input and the robot is started via the correct recognition information; after the robot is started, the ranges needing cleaning are firstly set and then coordinates of cleaning dead space are set, wherein the ranges include the coordinate of an initial point, the coordinate of each point of a path and a coordinate of a finishing point; cleaning items are respectively set aiming at the set coordinates and include table board tidying, wall sweeping, sofa dust absorbing and floor dust absorbing and floor mopping; after the cleaning item setting is completed, the robot starts working; and after completing the cleaning items, the robot returns to the initial coordinate point and sends a completion signal to an owner.
