Embodiment Construction

[0014] The technical solution of the present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments

[0015] In the video byte stream, the data block corresponding to each video frame is a macroblock. Obviously, the bits located in the first column are the most important.

[0016] figure 2 Is the flow chart of IEREC. Wherein, the source data codec may be an H.26x codec or an MPEG-x codec. The output of the source data encoder is a byte stream of a series of macroblocks. These macroblocks are fed into the EREC encoder, where fixed-length blocks are converted into fixed-length slots.

[0017] A. Cross process

[0018] After EREC encoding, a slot interleaving process will be performed. The interleaving process is to rotate the data of N rows and S columns clockwise 90 degrees to become the data of S rows and N columns, see image 3 . image 3 is true figure 1 The results are crossed. Before the crossov...

Abstract

The invention discloses a cross fault tolerance entropy coding method which includes the following steps: (1) conducting H.263 standard coding on one frame of a video sequence; (2) conducting error resilient entropy coding (EREC) on a series of data blocks which are output by a source encoder and not equal in lengths; (3) conducting cross processing on N grooves which are s in length and output by the EREC, namely clockwise 90-degree transposition is conducted on output, and s data packages which are N in length are obtained; and (4) conducting corresponding decoding processes on channel coding and transmission and various stages. By means of the method, EREC error robustness can be further improved, and tests prove that under different channel states, intersection EREC (IEREC) is improved by 2dB averagely.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for solving random channel errors, in particular to a cross error-tolerant entropy coding method. Background technique [0002] Many coding standards have been developed at present, such as H.26x and MEPG series standards, which all adopt variable-length coding to achieve high coding efficiency. Due to the error propagation caused by the loss of synchronization signal, the stability of video byte streams using variable length coding is reduced when transmitted in random error channels. Many methods have been proposed to improve the error robustness of video byte streams, such as inserting resynchronization markers, Reversible Variable Length Coding (RVLC), Partially Reversed Decodable Bitstream (PBDBS) and so on. Among these methods, EREC shows better ability in maintaining video byte stream. [0003] The EREC frame structure consists of N fixed-length slots, and the EREC encoding process includes N steps. In the fi...
