Abstract

The invention provides a rice seedling stage growth accelerant and an application method thereof, and belongs to the field of an agricultural production technique. The rice seedling stage growth accelerant contains alpha-oxoglutarate and a surfactant, wherein the concentration of the alpha-oxoglutarate is 10-60g/kg and the concentration of the surfactant is 50-150g/kg. According to the rice seedling stage growth accelerant disclosed by the invention, the utilization efficiency of a nitrogen fertilizer of rice can be improved by 5.0-10.0%. The absorption and the utilization of the nitrogen fertilizer by the rice are improved and the accumulation amount of dry substances in a rice seedling stage is increased by 5.0-18.0%, so as to lay a good foundation for high yield of the rice. The absorption and the utilization of the nitrogen fertilizer by the rice are improved so that the application amount of the nitrogen fertilizer of the rice is reduced by 5.0-10.0%, the loss of the fertilizer is reduced, the cost of planting the rice is reduced, and an ecological environment is protected while benefits are increased.
