The U-shaped pipe is provided with an entrance end, a bended end and an exit end, wherein the entrance end is arranged adjacent to the entrance connection pipe, the bended end is arranged at the bottom of the cylinder body and the exit end is connected with the exit connection pipe in a sleeved mode. The gas-liquid separator is provided with a flow retaining plate preventing media from directly entering into the entrance end from the entrance connection pipe. The flow retaining plate interferes with an air flow linear route of the entrance connection pipe. The flow retaining plate which interferes with the air flow liner route can collide with the media entering into the cylinder body and change directions of the media so as to initiatively prevent the media from directly entering into the entrance end from the entrance connection pipe.
