The method comprises the steps that a skin resource library is acquired in advance, wherein the skin resource library comprises a corresponding relation between a picture resource and a music resource; a skin request is received; the picture resource and the music resource corresponding to the skin request in the skin resource library are acquired; the music resource is played in a preestablished audio channel; and the picture resource is displayed. According to the method and the device, the audio channel is established for exclusively playing the music resource of a skin function of the music player, and simultaneously displaying the picture resource corresponding to the music resource; on the premise that a music play function of the music player is not affected, the atmosphere sense and the experience sense are improved while a user listens to music; and the skin function of the music player is implemented.
