Abstract

The invention discloses a tempering processing method for 3-6 mm tempered glass. The method comprises the following steps: boiling sheet glass in boiling salt water at the temperature of 100 DEG C for 1 to 2 hours, wherein the salt water has a concentration of 15% to 18%; horizontally placing the glass on a roller, and sending the glass to a first channel tempering furnace and a second channel tempering furnace by the roller; and carrying out heat treatments to the glass successively according to different zones. According to the method of heating in different zones, carrying out a cooling treatment in the middle procedure, and carrying out heat treatments twice, stress distribution on the surface of the glass is adjusted, flatness of the tempered glass is ensured, tempering degree of the glass surface is increased, self-destruction ratio of the glass in the cooling process is reduced, production yield of the tempered glass is improved, and performance index demands of the tempered glass are met.
