Abstract

A fractional order self-adaptation signal processor based on a fractional order steepest descent method provided by the invention is a fractional order self-adaptation training processer which performs fractional order extremum search to the signal quadric form energy functional. The invention relates to the order v of fractional order calculus, which is not the conventional integral order, but a non-integral order, a fraction or a rational decimal fraction is generally taken in the engineering application. The self-adaptation signal processor is formed by a -v power square power device, a 1-v power square power device, a 2-v power square power device, a mu generator, a multiplying unit I, a multiplying unit II, a multiplying unit III and an adder in a cascading manner. The fractional order self-adaptation signal processor has the significant advantage of capability of performing fractional order extremum search to the signal quadric form energy functional. A filter is particularly suitable for the applications of fractional order self-adaptation signal processing and fractional order self-adaptation control. The processor belongs to the technical field of applied mathematics, digital signal processing and digital circuit interdisciplinary branches of science.
