[0039] refer to figure 1 The configuration of the medical image processing apparatus according to the first embodiment will be described. Such as figure 1 As shown, the medical image processing apparatus according to this embodiment includes: an image data storage unit 10 , a structure extraction unit 20 , an image generation unit 30 , an image storage unit 40 , a display control unit 50 , and a U / I 60 . Furthermore, the structure extracting portion 20 includes a tubular structure extracting portion 21 and a core wire extracting portion 22 . Furthermore, the image generating unit 30 includes a viewpoint position specifying unit 31 and an image processing unit 32 .

[0040] In the medical image processing apparatus according to the present embodiment, an operator receives designation of an observation object in three-dimensional image data, and a moving image display shows a fly-through image of the observation object in a predetermined size. Hereinafter, "designation of obs...

[0101] In the first embodiment, the object position is designated only for a predetermined time phase, but the object position may be designated for all time phases. In Modification 1, the operation in this case will be described focusing on differences from the first embodiment.

[0102] The structure extracting unit 20 sequentially reads medical image data of multiple time phases corresponding to a predetermined examination, and instructs the tubular structure extracting unit 21 and the core line extracting unit 22 to determine the tubular structure and the core line for the read medical image data. The extraction method of the tubular structure and the core wire for each piece of medical image data is the same as that of the first embodiment. When the tubular structure and the core wire are extracted, the structure extracting unit 20 outputs the information representing the tubular structure and the core line to the image generating unit 30 in association with medical image...

[0113] Next, a medical image processing apparatus according to a second embodiment will be described. In the medical image processing apparatuses according to the first embodiment and Modification 1, the operator's designation of the target position P12 is accepted, but in the present embodiment, the medical image processing apparatus itself automatically detects vocal cords and the like having shape characteristics. The position of the tissue is taken as the object position P12. Below, refer to Figure 5BThe operation of the medical image processing apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described focusing on differences from the first embodiment. Figure 5B It is a flowchart showing a series of operations of the medical image processing apparatus according to the second embodiment.

Abstract

A medical image processing apparatus comprises a structure identifying part, an image generator, and a display controller. The structure identifying part identifies a tubular structure inside a subject and a core line in the axial direction of the tubular structure based on medical image data. The image generator generates medical images when viewing a predetermined observation object from a desired view point position inside the tubular structure. The display controller causes the display to display medical images. Furthermore, at each timing, the image generator identifies view point position at which the relative distance between the position of the observation object and the view point position becomes even among each of the timings, and generates a medical image from the view point position for each timing. Moreover, the display controller causes the display to display a plurality of the medical images generated for each of the timings in chronological order.

Description

[0001] Related applications: This application is based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2012-38712 (filing date February 24, 2012) and enjoys the priority of this application. This application incorporates the entire content of this application by reference. technical field [0002] Embodiments of the present invention relate to techniques for displaying medical images based on image data acquired by a medical imaging device. Background technique [0003] It has a medical image processing device that displays three-dimensional image data collected by a medical image diagnosis device. The medical image diagnostic apparatus referred to here refers to an X-ray computer tomography (Computer Tomography: CT) apparatus, a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) apparatus, an X-ray diagnostic apparatus, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and the like. [0004] As one of methods for displaying medical images based on three-dimensional image data acquired by such a medical image diagnosi...
