Abstract

The invention discloses TCM preparation for the treatment of thrush in infants and children. Doctors of TCM reckon that thrush in infants and children is caused generally by brimming heat and deficiency fire and that the proper drugs for the treatment are effective in clearing heat-fire and nourishing yin to lessen fire. Therefore, the TCM preparation is made with meadowrue root and rhizome, common Souliea rhizome, tangut barberry bark, gypsum, common anemarrhena rhizome, herb of decumbent bugle, red peony root, and licorice root. Decoction of the TCM preparation is prepared in the preparation room of Yinan people's hospital; clinical experiments show that total effective rate is up to 100% and that the preparation has curative effect significantly better than that of a control group.
