Abstract

The invention discloses a power battery charging and heating system and method of a pure electric vehicle. The charging and heating system comprises a whole vehicle control unit, a vehicle-mounted charger, a charging pile, a battery managing system, a power battery, a DC/DC converter, a heat managing system, a PTC heater and a 12V storage battery for electrifying the charging and heating system at low pressure. The charging and heating method includes the steps that when charging is performed, if the temperature T of the power battery is smaller than or equal to the criticality of the lowest temperature which is preset, the vehicle-mounted charger provides electric energy for the PTC heater, and low-temperature heating is performed. If the temperature T of the power battery is larger than the criticality of the lowest temperature T which is preset, the power battery quits from low-temperature heating and is in a normal charging mode. The power battery charging and heating system and method of the pure electric vehicle can shorten the low-temperature heating time, ensure normal charging of the power battery and meanwhile does not affect the service life of the power battery.
