The dynamic configuration method includes: a transmitter acquires dynamic spectral information of its geographic location; determining the amounts of left and right edge virtual subcarriers of a multicarrier transmission system at left and right edges of operating spectrum of the transmitter according to the dynamic spectral information, so that the sum of the amounts of the left and right edge virtual subcarriers is not smaller than aliasing guard bands of baseband signals of the multicarrier transmission system and not larger than discrete Fourier transform dimensionality of the baseband signals; setting virtual subcarriers of the multicarrier transmission system according to the determined amount of the left edge virtual subcarriers and the determined amount of the right edge virtual subcarriers.
