Problems solved by technology

However, the amount of data in the IVUS image sequence is huge, and due to the use of high-frequency ultrasound probes, the image is seriously disturbed by noise and the contrast is low. Therefore, if the above work is done manually by the doctor frame by frame, it is a very tedious task. Not only the speed Slow and inefficient, and the results of judgment and analysis are easily affected by the professional knowledge and clinical experience of doctors, and the repeatability is poor

Embodiment Construction

[0036] The IVUS image sequence is a real-time slice image sequence of the blood vessel cavity obtained by withdrawing the ultrasound probe catheter along the guide wire at a uniform speed under the guidance of X-ray fluoroscopy images, including images of lesions and normal blood vessel segments. If judged by a person frame by frame , not only time-consuming, but also the objectivity and reproducibility of the results are poor. The invention designs and develops a content-based IVUS image sequence automatic retrieval system, which can quickly and accurately detect lesion images containing calcified plaques. It should be noted that atherosclerotic plaques are mainly divided into lipid plaques, fibrotic plaques, calcified plaques, and mixed plaques according to their components. Different types of plaque tissues appear differently in IVUS images due to differences in acoustic impedance, and the method of the present invention only searches and identifies calcified plaques.

Abstract

Provided is an automatic retrieval method for calcified plaque frames in an intravascular ultrasound image sequence. The method comprises the specific steps of (a), carrying out anisotropic diffusion filtering on each frame of IVUS image, (b), carrying out polar coordinate conversion on each frame of IVUS image after the anisotropic diffusion filtering, (c), obtaining the radial gray level changing curve of each angle according to polar coordinate view, (d), initially retrieving the images containing calcified plaque, and (e), carrying out fine retrieval on the images containing the calcified plaque. According to the automatic retrieval method for the calcified plaque frames in the intravascular ultrasound image sequence, the original radio-frequency signals and backscattering signals of IVUS equipment do not need to be collected, the application conditions of the method are lowered, the retrieval process is completed full-automatically, doctors do not need to take part in manually, the doctors are liberated from onerous manual retrieval work, objective and high-repeatability retrieval results can be obtained fast, and reliable bases can be provided for computer-aided diagnosis and formulating interventional therapy schemes of coronary heart diseases.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for automatically searching intravascular ultrasonic image sequences, detecting key frames containing calcified plaques, and automatically locating calcified areas, belonging to the technical field of medical imaging. Background technique [0002] Coronary heart disease refers to abnormal lipid metabolism, lipid deposition in coronary artery blood forms plaques on the original smooth arterial intima, and these plaques gradually increase to narrow the vascular lumen, block blood flow, and lead to cardiac ischemia . [0003] Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging is a minimally invasive interventional imaging technique widely used clinically to diagnose vascular lesions, especially coronary heart disease, and to detect vulnerable plaques. It sends a miniaturized ultrasound probe into the lumen of a blood vessel through catheter technology to display a cross-sectional image of the blood vessel. This technology can be u...
