Problems solved by technology

[0019] It can be seen from the above-mentioned vehicle-mounted LTE-Fi network environment that in the cross-network communication system, since the IP address of the user terminal has been modified by multiple address translation technologies, the web page authentication and accounting server deployed in the target network and the network where the user terminal is located cannot communicate with each other. Unified and unique identification of users, so users cannot be billed based on IP addresses

example 1

[0044] In this example, when the Wi-Fi access network redirects the webpage access request of the user terminal, the identification number specified by the Wi-Fi access network for the user terminal (such as : MAC address). The webpage authentication and billing server identifies the user through the ID number and the Wi-Fi access network.

[0045] see Figure 5 The flow chart of the billing method in the shown cross-network communication, the method includes the following steps:

[0046] Step S502, the Wi-Fi terminal accesses the Wi-Fi network, and completes association and authentication with the network.

[0047] In step S504, the Wi-Fi terminal obtains its local IP address through the DHCP server, and starts a network access service.

[0048] Step S505, the Wi-Fi terminal initiates a webpage access request to the Wi-Fi network for the first time (the request can be a request message);

[0049] Step S506, the Wi-Fi network defaults to the webpage redirection service for...

example 2

[0065] In this example, the webpage authentication and accounting server pre-allocates different target port numbers for each Wi-Fi access network, and each Wi-Fi access network replaces the original target port number in the IP packet with The Wi-Fi access network is the target port number specified by the terminal, and the identity of the user is identified by the target port number specified by the Wi-Fi terminal between the webpage authentication and accounting server and the Wi-Fi access network.

[0066] see Figure 6 The flow chart of the billing method in the shown cross-network communication, the method includes the following steps:

[0067] In step S600, the webpage authentication and accounting server allocates a shared target port number pool for the Wi-Fi access network, that is, each authentication port number is not repeated, and each Wi-Fi network uses a unique pool of authentication port numbers. The webpage authentication and accounting server monitors all a...

Abstract

The invention provides a charging method and a system in cross-network communication. The charging method in the cross-network communication comprises that a first network receives a webpage access request which is sponsored through a user terminal; the first network redirects a webpage authentication charging server after adding identity label information of the user terminal to the above webpage access requirement when confirming that the user terminal is a new user; the webpage authentication charging server is located in a second network; the webpage authentication charging server records the identity label information of the user terminal after receiving the webpage access requirement, authenticates the user terminal and charges for the access of the user terminal according to the identity label information of the user terminal in the first network after the authentication is passed. The charging method in the cross-network communication has the advantages of solving the problem that charging cannot be performed on cross-network communication users according to IP (Internet Protocol) addresses.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the communication field, in particular to a charging method and system in cross-network communication. Background technique [0002] A wireless local area network refers to a group of computers and related devices interconnected using IEEE 802.11 wireless technology. Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) refers to a computer local area network with wireless channels as the transmission medium. It is an important supplement and extension of wired networking, and has gradually become a vital part of computer networks. Fields where removable data processing is required or where physical transmission media cabling is not possible. With the formulation and development of the IEEE802.11 wireless network standard, the wireless network technology is more mature and perfect. This technology has been successfully used in many industries, such as financial securities, education, large enterprises, industrial and mining ports, government ag...
