Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: detecting three-phase currents of the synchronous motor, judging whether the relation of the three-phase currents meets the preset condition, and judging that the synchronous motor is asynchronous when the relation of the three-phase currents fails to meet the preset condition. According to the embodiment of the invention, the relation of the three-phase currents is calculated in real time according to the detected three phase-currents, and the three-phase currents of the synchronous motor in the forward rotation form a sine wave with the same amplitudes and the difference of phase position of 120 degrees under the normal condition. The synchronous motor is judged to be asynchronous when the amplitudes of the three-phase currents are not the same or the difference of the phase position is not 120 degrees, so that the further protection treatment like stopping the wave is conducted, then the fault damage is prevented from further expanding, the loss is reduced, and the safety is improved.
