Abstract

A method for cleaning internal surface of a copper coil includes the following steps of pouring appropriate cleaning agents into an entry end of the copper coil, then stuffing three to five cleaning balls into the entry end, pouring cleaning agent into the same entry end, then stuffing three to five cleaning balls, and then blowing in compressed purified air under a pressure ranging from 3 to 6 Mpa and an air flow of 10 to 11 M3/min until the cleaning balls are blown off from the exit end of the copper coil. According to the color of the last cleaning ball, whether the internal surface of the copper coil is cleaned up can be judged. If the last cleaning ball keeps the original color, the internal surface of the copper coil is cleaned up. Then nitrogen can be pumped into the copper coil and an annealing treatment in an annealing stove can be operated; after then a turbidity test can be operated through sampling from the copper coil. According to this method, the compressed purified air is used as the cleaning power source. The compressed purified air is low in cost, convenient to obtain and safe to use. The cleaning cost can be decreased by 50 percent, the pollution to environment can be reduced, and the compressed purified air can also be used as power source for other materials of coils.
