When weaving silk is cracked, the path of infrared rays emitted through the infrared emitter is blocked because yarn hairiness of the cracked ends on the weaving silk floats up and down, so that the infrared receiver does not receive the infrared rays, the controller indicates the loom to stop, high level is output to the indicator lamp and then the indicator lamp brightens. When the infrared rays detect the yarn hairiness of the cracked ends, the water jet loom automatically stops, the indicator lamp for the cracked ends brightens, an operator is indicated to perform processing timely, so that it is avoided that the cracked ends are found on a cloth fell or a cloth cover, the cracked ends are found in advance, and then product quality is improved.
