According to the method, business process execution data are obtained in the ERP system, and a mapping relation between a to-be-monitored business process in the business process execution data and a standard business process in a standard process database is established; on the basis of the corresponding standard business process, a process monitoring rule of the to-be-monitored business process is set; according to the set process monitoring rule, monitoring examination is executed on the to-be-monitored business process and whether the actual operation process of the to-be-monitored business process meets the process monitoring rule is examined; and the monitoring examination result is outputted finally. According to the invention, for the business process of the ERP system, the service process execution data are obtained from the ERP system and the process monitoring rule is defined; and according to the process monitoring rule, the obtained process execution data in the ERP information system are examined regularly or in real time so as to output information of problems existing in the process.
