Abstract

The invention discloses a method for optimizing the decoding performance of an RSFEC decoding algorithm. The method includes the steps that S1, the positions of all lost packets are enumerated out according to the number m of data codes and the number n of redundant codes, a decoding matrix corresponding to each lost packet position is written into a decoding matrix file, and when the system is started, the decoding matrix file is loaded into a cache; S2, each data code and each redundant code correspond to a single bit in a binary number of a (m+n) digit, one or zero in each binary number is used for representing whether a packet is lost or not, so that a pointer array with the length being (2m+n) is obtained, and the pointer arrays correspond to the decoding matrixes in the decoding matrix file respectively; S3, in a packet loss decoding state, the data codes and the redundant codes at the packet loss positions are converted into the binary numbers, and the corresponding decoding matrixes are found out from the decoding matrix file for decoding according to the pointer arrays.
