Abstract

The invention provides a news text emotional tendency analysis method. The method comprises the steps of dividing a text into a plurality of sentences each of which includes at least clause that includes at least one word; analyzing the attribute of each word, wherein the attribute is one of optimistic words, pessimistic words, non-emotional words and negative modification words; accumulating attributes of all words of each clause to predict emotional tendency of each clause; and accumulatively adding emotional tendency of all clauses, with a single sentence being a unit, to calculate text emotional tendency entropy to determine emotional tendency of the text.
