The invention relates to a turbidity-reducing and algae-inhibiting method which comprises the following steps: (1) manually putting in various compound microbial preparations in a eutrophic polluted water body; (2) under the premise of improving the transparency, planting submerged plants; (3) putting in a certain amount of herbivorous fishes according to the growing condition of the submerged plants, and bringing out part of nutritional salt of the water body through fish bodies by manually fishing the herbivorous fishes periodically; (4) determining water quality indexes before and after the steps, wherein the compound microbial preparations comprise photosynthetic bacteria, organic mineralized bacillus, nitrobacteria, denitrifying bacteria and phosphorus-accumulating bacteria; the submerged plants are selected from hornworts, water caltrops, waterweed, eel grass or potamogeton maackianus. According to the method provided by the invention, microorganisms-submerged plants-herbivorous fishes are gradually introduced to form an integral biologic chain which has good compatibility to the ecological system of the water body; the submerged plants are introduced to absorb inorganic N and P with low concentration in the water body, so that the water quality is improved.
