When an unqualified printed product is conveyed to the position close to the printer eliminating device through the conveyor belt of the printer, an induction sensor induces the unqualified printed product and sends a signal to a control module; the control module is used for controlling the rotation of a rotating shaft and the rotating shaft drives the rotating rod to do circling motion; the rotating rod drives the connecting rod to rotate; and the connecting rod drives the paper eliminating cutter to rotate around the fixed end of the paper eliminating cutter, and the unqualified printed product is eliminated. With the adoption of the printer eliminating device and the application method thereof disclosed by the invention, the rotating shaft drives the rotating rod to do the circling motion, the rotating rod drives the connecting rod to rotate and the connecting rod drives the paper eliminating cutter to rotate; and air is blown outwards through the air outlet so that the unqualified printed product on the conveyor belt of the printer can be effectively eliminated.
