The present invention discloses an interface device and an information processing device, which are capable of only utilizing hardware to determine a standard in the connected state and making the standard be corresponded. The interface device comprises a connector, a communication circuit, determination circuit and a switching circuit. The connector can be connected to external devices. The communication circuit is configured with terminals that are partially shared with the plurality of terminals of the connector, and communicated with the external devices through a first signal of a first communication manner or a second signal of a second communication manner that is different from the first communication manner. The determination circuit determines the communication manner of the external devices in connection with the connector according to the state of a pair of terminals utilizing the first signal to form loop connection in the terminal configuration. The switching circuit switches the signal in the communication manner of the communication circuit according to the determination results of the determination circuit.
