Abstract

The package comprises a plurality of wall panels (11-16) forming a box-like container (10) configured to contain a filled dough-based cone-shaped product (P). The panels (11-16) include a base of microwave inert material and a plurality of shields (30-38) of microwave shielding material disposed within selected inner regions of the panel. The shields (30-38) comprise a first set of shields (30-34) positioned along the lower cone region (P1) of the filled dough-based conical product (P) and shielding the lower conical cone region (P1); and a second set of shields (35‑38) located along the upper conical edge region (P2) of the filled dough-based conical product (P), shielding said upper conical edge zone (P2) and intensifies the heating of the open central zone (P3) of the filling of the filled dough-based conical product (P).
