Abstract

The present application relates generally to wireless communication systems, and more particularly, to systems, methods, and devices for remote credential management in wireless communication systems. In one aspect, a method of obtaining settings information for a device via a service provider network (eg, a cellular network) is provided. The method includes sending an attach request to a setup service via the service provider network, the attach request including device vendor information having a unique identifier for the device. The method also includes receiving setup information from the service provider when the device vendor information is authenticated. In other aspects, systems and methods for providing setup information are described.
