Abstract

The invention relates to a method for determining an actual turning radius of a tracked vehicle. The method comprises the steps of: building a testing device, wherein the device is a GPS testing device comprising a base station and a mobile station; obtaining actual turning radius data of a tested vehicle, starting the tested vehicle to turn the vehicle according to a stated turning radius, and starting the testing device; repeating the steps, and recording actual turning data parameters; and performing the actual turning track fitting treatment for the acquired data to output a result. The method uses the GPS testing device for recording the data and software for processing the data, so that the efficiency and the accuracy are improved; and the device can be widely applied to various tracked vehicles.
