Abstract

The invention discloses application of spearmint essential oil in preparation of a medicine for treating allergic dermatitis. Compared with the prior art, the spearmint essential oil in the method disclosed by the invention is capable of stabilizing mast cell membranes, reducing mast cell degranulation, inhibiting release of histamine and beta-hexosaminidase, reducing inflammatory reaction, reducing capillary permeability and relieving passive cutaneous allergic reaction.
