The power consumption calculation system comprises a mobile terminal body, wherein a mobile terminal is provided with a minimum system module, a power consumption calibration module, a control module, a current acquisition module and a storage module. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring output current of the mobile terminal in pre-set time under a minimum system mode and a power consumption calibration mode of the mobile terminal; calculating and obtaining power consumption threshold values as a first threshold value and a second threshold value of power consumption; and finally, calculating a power consumption size of the mobile terminal application, namely a numerical value obtained by subtracting the first threshold value by the second threshold value.
