Abstract

The invention discloses a submerged ecological island. The submerged ecological island is composed of three parts, namely a frame, a planting cage and a fixing component, wherein the frame is composed of two parts, namely PVC frame tubes (1) having the diameter of 300mm and PVC framework tubes (2) having the diameter of 200mm; the planting cage is formed by use of a stainless steel mesh (6) having the aperture of 10mm; and the fixing component is composed of two parts, namely a fixing rope (4) and a fixing pillar (5). The four edges of each PVC frame tube (1) are all 3000mm, and the four edges are hermetically communicated with each other as a whole to form a hollow structure; each PVC framework tube (2) is 2400mm long, and the PVC framework tubes (2) are hermetically connected with the PVC frame tubes (1) by use of reducing three-way joints at the interval of 600mm; and the ecological island is suspended at 1000mm under the water surface. The submerged ecological island is suspended at 1000mm under the water surface without occupying the area on the water surface and affecting the photosynthetic reoxygenation efficiency of algae on the water surface; submerged plants grow so that the transparency of the water can be improved; the position of the ecological island in the water is relatively fixed without drifting under the disturbance of surface wind waves; and the submerged ecological island is high in stability without overturning.
