Provided is an airbag device capable of suppressing direct contact between a corner of a folded part of a cover formed during unfolding of an airbag and the airbag. The cover is provided with: a tearing line (842); a cover unfolding part which is divided by the tearing line (842) and is unfolded during expansion of the airbag; and folding parts (882, 884) which are formed by at least part of the tearing line and are adjacent to the cover unfolding part. The corner is formed on the folding parts (882, 884). On a packaging material (35), a predetermined broken line (352) which is broken during the expansion of the airbag (32) is formed, and the packaging material (35) consists of at least one opening sheet (359) formed by the predetermined broken line (352). At least part of the opening sheet (359) is clamped between the airbag (32) and the corner during expansion of the airbag (32).
