Embodiment

[0017] The magnesium-iron-based organic binder for ironmaking pellets has the following components by weight percentage: 10-20% of organic high-viscosity material; 20-30% of catalyst; 10-20% of tackifier; and 50-70% of carrier. The organic high-viscosity material is one or a mixture of xanthan gum, alginate gum and water-soluble resin. The catalyst is red iron oxide. Described tackifier is sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium humate. The carrier is magnesia sand. See Table 1 for example organic binder components.

[0020] According to the formula, it is mixed according to the proportion and then co-milled, and the mass percentage of the particle size -0.074mm particle size is ≥ 70%. Then, 0.7% by weight of the above-mentioned magnesium-iron-based pellet organic binder is added to the iron ore concentrate powder. See Table 2 for the comparison table of the raw pellet indexes ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a magnesium-iron-based organic adhesive for iron-making pellet. The magnesium-iron-based organic adhesive comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10-20% of an organic high-viscosity material, 20-30% of a catalyst, 10-20% of a tackifier and 50-70% of a carrier, wherein the organic high-viscosity material is one or a mixture of two of xanthan gum, alginic acid gel and water-soluble resin; the catalyst is iron oxide red. The magnesium-iron-based organic adhesive can be used for completely replacing bentonite to produce pellet, and the use amount for pellet production is small, namely, the magnesium-iron-based organic adhesive accounts for 30-50% of the addition amount of bentonite. The quality standard requirements of pellet can be completely met, the high-temperature metallurgical performance of pellet can be improved, the strength of the green-ball can be improved, the decrepitation temperature of the green-ball can be increased, the pressure resistance of the finished pellet can be improved, and the grade of total iron can be increased. The reduction expansion rate of pellet can be also reduced. A part of MgO in sinter can be transferred into pellet, so that not only is the metallurgical property of the pellet improved, but also the pressure to sintering production can be alleviated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of metallurgical binders, in particular to a composite binder for ironmaking pellets and its application. Background technique [0002] 1. Ironmaking pellets have the advantages of good metallurgical properties and improved air permeability of the blast furnace charge column, and are considered to be a high-quality charge for optimizing the structure of the blast furnace charge. In order to meet the requirements of the iron concentrate production pellet process and blast furnace smelting on the chemical composition, strength and metallurgical properties of the charge, it is necessary to add a certain amount of binder to the pellet charge. At present, the most widely used binder is bentonite, including calcium bentonite, sodium bentonite and artificial sodium bentonite. The main component of bentonite is SiO 2 and Al 2 o 3 , adding in the pellet feed will reduce the grade of pellets and increase the amoun...
