The present invention relates to devices comprising fuel cell units and components, component units and stacked components for such devices. The device comprises: a fuel cell unit having a plurality of fuel cells and defining a longitudinal axis of the device and a main direction coaxial with the longitudinal axis, opposite ends of the battery unit being provided with fuel cell inlets and outlets collinear with the main direction . The device also includes a component having a first fluid conduit arranged parallel to the main direction and including first fluid inlets and outlets disposed at opposite ends of the component and collinear with the main direction. The component is arranged adjacent to the fuel cell unit such that at least one of the first fluid inlet and the outlet is arranged adjacent to at least one of the fuel cell outlet and the inlet such that when fluid flow entering the device flows from the component to the fuel cell unit or vice versa Likewise, the fluid flow can flow in the first fluid conduit and the fuel cell unit substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the device.
