Problems solved by technology

[0047] It can be seen that, according to the solutions of the prior art, a long handover delay (handover latency) will be generated, which may increase the packet loss rate during the handover process
Moreover, for inter-frequency handover, UE usually needs measurement gaps to perform inter-frequency measurements. For LTEHBS systems, during the measurement gaps, the data transmission of TBAU will be affected, thereby reducing the throughput of the system.

Abstract

The invention aims at providing a method and a base station for reducing handover delay in the source base station (eNB) of a train broadband access system. The method comprises the following steps of transmitting measurement control information to user equipment; receiving a first measurement report from the user equipment, which is generated on the basis of the measurement control information; after the first measurement report is received, determining a target object that the user equipment can be switched to; transmitting connection reconfiguration information, which corresponds to the target object for handover, to the user equipment; receiving a second measurement report which is generated by the user equipment on the basis of the measurement control information. The method for reducing the handover delay of the train broadband access system reduce the time duration of handover delay and accurately control the trigger point for executing handover; for the situations requiring measuring clearance, the method for reducing handover delay in the train broadband access system can save a process of activating the measuring clearance for different-frequency measurement, thereby avoiding influence of the measuring clearance on throughput.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and base station for reducing switching delay in a base station (eNB) of a train broadband access system. Background technique [0002] The LTE High-speed Backhaul System (LTE HBS) applies the LTE mobile communication system to high-speed trains. figure 1 An architecture diagram of a high-speed train communication system is shown. Wherein, the long-term evolution high-speed backbone system includes one or more base station high-speed backbones (eNB High-speed Backhaul, eNB-HB), and a mobility management entity (Mobility Management Entity, MME) and a serving gateway (Serving Gateway, SGW) constitutes an evolved packet core network (Evolved Packet Core network, EPC). Wherein, a train broadband access system (Train Broadband Access System, TBAS) is deployed in the train, and the train broadband access system includes one or more base stations deployed in th...
