Problems solved by technology

[0003] The existing common radiochromic film is mainly based on nylon, with hexahydroxyethyl paramagentin (HPR-CN) as the dye, which is more suitable for high-dose measurement. For example, its monitorable dose range is 0.1-200kGy, which is a high-dose range monitoring, and cannot be used for low-dose monitoring in radiation processing and monitoring in radiation therapy (20-6500Gy), and is currently used for low-dose range monitoring (20 ~ 6500Gy) thin film dosimeter research has no public reports

Embodiment 1

[0032] A preparation process for a radiochromic film for dose monitoring, the process comprises the following steps (the parts in the following steps are all in parts by mass):

[0033] (1) Substrate dissolution

[0034] Get 10 parts of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) as the base material of radiochromic film, and it is dissolved with 60 parts of dehydrated alcohol;

[0035] (2) dye dissolution

[0036] Get 0.1 part of Leuco Malachite Green (LMG) as the dyestuff of the radiochromic film, and dissolve it with 10 parts of 2-methoxyethanol;

[0037] (3) mixing and stirring

[0038] Mix and stir the solution obtained in step (1) and step (2), and then add 0.2 parts of plasticizer dibutyl phthalate, 0.5 parts of trichloroethanol and 5 parts of 2-methoxyethanol in halogen compounds and stir again;

[0039] (4) Spread film

[0040] Apply the solution obtained in step (3) evenly on the optical glass film-making flat plate whose level has been adjusted, control the temperature to be 25-30...

Embodiment 2

[0047] Same steps and methods as in Example 1, except that the halogen compound used is hexachloroethane, the additive used is 2-ethoxyethanol, and the polyvinyl butyral used, dehydrated alcohol, leuco malachite green , 2-methoxyethanol, plasticizer, halogen compound, and the mass parts of additives are respectively 10 parts, 120 parts, 0.5 parts, 20 parts, 0.5 parts, 2 parts, and 10 parts;

[0048] Using the radiochromic film prepared by the preparation process and parameters described in Example 2, an irradiation experiment was carried out on this radiochromic film in a cobalt source irradiation device, and the relative standard deviation of the radiochromic film dose measurement repeatability was 1.9 %.

Embodiment 3

[0050] Same as the steps and methods of Example 1, the difference is that the process of step (5) is: a porous sealing cover is added on the film-making flat plate described in step (4), and a sealing film is attached on the hole, At a temperature of 28-30°C, a relative humidity of 40%-60%, and light-proof conditions, keep the film solution stable for 1-2 days and reach steam saturation under sealed conditions; then open the sealing film attached to the hole until the film dry.

[0051] Using the radiochromic film prepared by the preparation process and parameters described in Example 3, an irradiation experiment was carried out on this radiochromic film in a cobalt source irradiation device, and the relative standard deviation of the radiochromic film dose measurement repeatability was 1.5 %.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of dose monitoring and discloses a preparation technology of a radiochromic film for dose monitoring. The technology comprises steps as follows: (1) dissolving PVB (polyvinyl butyral) in absolute ethyl alcohol; (2) dissolving LMG (leuco malachite green) in 2-methoxyethanol; (3) mixing and evenly stirring solutions obtained in Step (1) and Step (2), then adding a plasticizer, a halogen compound and an additive, and evenly stirring the mixture again; (4) evenly applying the solution obtained in Step (3) to a flat film-making panel which is already adjusted horizontally; (5) covering the flat film-making panel in Step (4) with a sealing cover, keeping the state for 1-2 days to enable a film solution to be stable under conditions of the temperature of 28-30 DEG C, the relative humidity of 40-60% and darkness, realizing a saturated-vapor state under the sealed condition, and then opening the sealing cover till the film is dry; (6) stripping the film dried in Step (5). With the adoption of the technology, preparation is simple, and the prepared film is uniform in thickness and can be used for monitoring the dose range of 20-6500 Gy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of dose monitoring, and in particular relates to a preparation process of a radiochromic film used for dose monitoring. Background technique [0002] The radiochromic film undergoes a chemical reaction after exposure to ionizing radiation, resulting in a distinct color change. This process does not require further processing by other methods such as thermal, optical or chemical, and is intuitive and simple. Since the radiation chemical yield of the color-changing substance is proportional to the absorbed dose, the absorbed dose can be obtained by characterizing the yield of the color-changing substance by using the optical density before and after irradiation of the film. Utilizing this characteristic of radiochromic film, it can be made into a two-dimensional solid dosimeter, which can be used as a conventional dosimeter for irradiation fields such as ultraviolet rays, X-rays, gamma rays and electron beams...
