The first live-wire conductive piece is connected with a live wire of an external AC power supply, and one end of the second live-wire conductive piece is a first convex elastic piece end. The first temperature-sensing glass ball is used for enabling the first convex elastic piece end to be pressed and attached to the first live-wire conductive piece. When the internal temperature of the socket rises to the critical temperature of the first temperature-sensing glass ball, the first temperature-sensing glass ball is caused to be exploded, and the first convex elastic piece end pops up and is separated from the first live-wire conductive piece, thereby enabling the power of the socket to be cut off, protecting the socket from being burnt down.
