Benefits of technology

This technology ensures that there're no channeling or cracks on the surface when it gets wet during construction due to ice buildup caused from temperature changes over time. It also increases strength without adding more material than necessary for better performance.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed by this patented technology relating to ordinary concretes that have excellent properties but also are difficult or expensive for use alone due to their weak resistance against damage caused during construction processes. This limits its usefulness in applications where strength needs greater than usual levels.

Abstract

The invention discloses cold region used antifreezing concrete which comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1-2 parts of polylactic acid fiber, 300-400 parts of ordinary Portland cement, 900-1000 parts of limestone gravel, 60-70 parts of coal ash, 4-5 parts of a novel water reducer, 50-60 parts of red mud, 300-400 parts of river sand, 30-40 parts of black sand, 40-60 parts of furnace dust, 3-5 parts of calcium propionate, 30-40 parts of dihydrate gypsum powder, 0.8-1 part of stearic acid, ethylene ester, 3-5 parts of magnesium hydroxide sulfate whiskers, 170-200 parts of water, 1-2 parts of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 40-50 parts of mineral powder and 1-1.5 parts of an air entraining agent. The cold region used antifreezing concrete is uniform, stable and sealed, prevents capillary channel formation, alleviates expansion pressure generated by freezing of free water and effectively improves the antifreezing property; the added magnesium hydroxide sulfate whisker and polylactic acid fiber can cooperate with concrete to bear pulling stress so as to improve the tenacity and crack resistance of concrete.
