Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for identifying a tobacco essence. The method only comprises the following steps: obtaining transient response signal values of t measurement points of an electronic nose sensor array for volatile components of a to-be-identified tobacco essence; building a response matrix R by employing the obtained values, and carrying out factorization on the response matrix R, so as to obtain an adsorption quality form matrix C, an adsorption quality coefficient matrix N and an odor characteristic matrix gamma; and further treating the three matrixes to obtain a plurality of three-dimensional stereograms of odor maps for representing the to-be-identified tobacco essence, comparing with the odor maps and the corresponding relationships between the preset tobacco essence type and the odor maps, so as to determine the type of the to-be-identified tobacco essence. According to the method disclosed by the invention, identification for the tobacco essence is carried out by virtue of software program, so that the problems of high cost and long identification time, caused by an artificial smoke panel test, are avoided; and lots of experiments prove that the identification efficiency for the tobacco essence is very high.
