The calibrating device is composed of a pressure stabilizing device, a flow rate adjusting device and at least one sampling timing unit. A fluid used for detection is pressurized by means of the pressure stabilizing device and passes through a detecting pipeline and sequentially flows through at least one detected instrument, the flow rate adjusting device and finally flows out of the detecting pipeline. Each detected instrument is provided with a pulse time difference unit. The flow rate adjusting device and sampling timing units are connected by means of data communication lines. The calibrating device for the fluid metering instrument has following beneficial effects: the invention brings forward the calibrating method for the fluid metering instrument more suitably applying electronic technology such that automation degree of the calibrating device is increased, calibrating speed is improved and calibrating cost is decreased; the invention is not only used for calibration of water meters but also applied to calibrating devices of a gas meter, an oil meter, a fluid flowmeter, a gas flowmeter and other metering instruments.
