Abstract

The invention provides a power protection system and method of a mobile device. The system comprises a charging unit which comprises input ends connected with a battery and a power adapter, an output end and an enablement end, and is used for outputting a gating signal when determining that the battery is charged by the power adapter; a processing unit which is used for stopping outputting a charging permission signal when detecting a hardware starting instruction, and starting the corresponding hardware in a delayed manner, and when detecting a hardware stop instruction, stopping the corresponding hardware and outputting the charging permission signal in a delayed manner; and a protection unit which comprises two input ends connected with the output end of the charging unit and the output end of the processing unit respectively, and an output end connected with the enablement end of the charging unit, and is used for determining whether an enable signal for allowing battery charging is output to the enablement end by analyzing the signals of the two output ends, and if the enable signal is output, charging the battery.
